My LJ is sooo exciting, isn't it? Just a place for me to post memes I do when bored and stuff... Stole this from vinterheim.

Anyways, movies on the list that have been watched are bolded, and underscored I own. Funnily enough, both the movies on the list I own, I own on good old video cassettes.

Titanic (1997)
The Dark Knight (2008) (today, even.
Drunken reproduction of a meme

I've been out drinking, and I have found that when I've been doing that, it's generally a good idea to wait for a while until I've sobered a bit before going to sleep.

So, well, a friend just posted a long "get to know you" list of questions. You all know the deal. I'm going to answer them, or fall asleep trying.

TECHNOLOGY

-What is your wallpaper on your computer?
Standard Vista wallpaper. Recently got this PC, and I'm lazy.

-How many televisions do you have in your apartment?
I have none. My flatmates have one each, totalling 2.

BIOLOGY

-Are you right-handed or left-handed?
Right.

-Have you ever had anything removed from your body?
A mole from my back (big, bothersome, and of the kind that is of risk for cancer), and my foreskin (that was... painful).

-What is the last heavy item you lifted?
Two weeks ago, I hauled a lot of fruit. It's sorta like getting paid for going to the gym, only I have to work in a freezer.

-Have you ever been knocked out?
Not completely. I've been knocked around a few times (happens when you do martial arts), but never knocked out.

BULLSHITOLOGY

-If it were possible, would you want to know the day you were going to die?
Nope. I would sorta like to know if it was only a couple of weeks off, so I could set straight the things that should be set straight before I died off, make peace with all the people I care about, and throw a kick-ass Farewell Party.

-If you could change your name, what would you change it to?
I can change my name, and I sorta want to add Sigurd to it. It's an old family name, and what I should have been named had the old traditions survived further than my grandfather.

-What colour do you think looks best on you?
"Alt kler den smukke" ("everything fits the handsome one"), as my grandmother would say. I find black, dark greys and red works well, and I have a couple of nice blue shirts. I absolutely love my purplish tie.

-Have you ever swallowed a non-food item?
I'm certain I have - as a kid, I used to put a lot of stuff in my mouth. But I can't name any specific item.

DAREOLOGY

-Would you kiss a member of the same sex for £100?
Yeah. If he was a good-looking enough pretty boy, I'd do it for a lot less, too.

-Would you allow one of your little fingers to be cut off for £200,000?
That's a pretty good sum. I would seriously consider it.

-Would you never blog again for £50,000?
As long as I were allowed to keep an account to check on my friends blogs, yeah. That's really the mainreason I have this account anyway.

-Would you pose naked in a magazine for £250,000?
Hell yeah. With certain exceptions. A friend answered "if it was tastefully done", I'd rather say "if it was done in a way that didn't offend my tastes and self-image" (which doesn't mean it really has to be "tasteful")

-Would you drink an entire bottle of hot sauce for £1,000?
Depends on the Hot Sauce. Blair's 16 Million Reserve? At 3 times the Scoville rating of pepper spray, even if it's just a ml, I'd think not. Blair's A.M. sauces? No fucking way. Tabasco? Maybe. Try Me's Tiger Sauce? Yeah. I love it.

-Would you, without fear of punishment, take a human life for £1,000,000?
This is an interesting one. I really can't know the answer, as much as I've thought about it. Not if it was someone I cared about, obviously. But I can say that I'm no better a human being than anyone else, and I am probably fully capable of taking the life of another human, should I be in a situation where this was required of me.

DUMBOLOGY

-What is in your left pocket?
Keys. The left pocket is my key-pocket, so unless they're in my jacket pocket, the keys are down there.

-Is Napoleon Dynamite actually a good movie?
I have absolutely no clue, and no need to find out.

-Do you have hardwood or carpet in your house?
We've got wood. That sounded wrong, but sorta right, too.

-Do you sit or stand in the shower?
In a real shower, I've sat once, and then I was really rather drunk. Home at my parents, where we have a bath tub, I usually kneel. Or take a bath.

-How many pairs of flip flops do you own?
None. I have several pairs of footwear that cover the same function, but none that can accurately be described as flip-flops. Almost bought a really cool pair, though, made of glued-together rope.

LASTOLOGY

-Last person who texted you?
A girl I met at a party today.

-Last person who called you?
Too lazy to go and check my phone. I'm guessing my mate Håvard.

-Person you hugged?
The li'l sister of the girl I met at a party today.

FAVOURITOLOGY

-Number?
13. I got the liking for that number from my dad.

-Season
No preference, as such. I like winter for playing around on my board, but dislike it otherwise, spring is an all-round good time, except it ends in exams just about the time when the best weather and the start of the summer comes around, summer is too hot for me to dress in my usual stylish ways, though that was remedied by this years Spain vacation, so I guess that's one less thing to complain about summer about, and autumn, a favourite for nice mood and cozy times, can get irritating due to cold and rain when unprepared.

-Colour?
Red.

CURRENTOLOGY

-Missing someone?
Most of the people I care for either live close enough for me to walk over to them, or are just a few button-pushes away. I do miss my family, and currently especially my mother, who by the way didn't call today like she uses to. Probably at work, I'll have to call her tomorrow.

-Mood?
Sorta blank, now. Starting to get too tired to really be in much of a mood. Had a good evening, though, if not fantastic.

-Listening to?
The gentle humming of a PC, and the quiet ticks of a wrist watch. Tick, tock, tick, tock.

-Watching?
What do you think?

-Worrying about?
No worries right now. Maybe tomorrow, maybe next week, but right now, no worries.

-Wearing?
Black suit, black shirt, and purplish tie. Actually, I just removed the purple tie, but, well.

RANDOMOLOGY

-First place you went this morning?
Over to my phone to call in sick. I currently have a bit of a cold, and working my ass off in a refrigerated fruit warehouse didn't sound like fun at all.

-What can you not wait to do?
It's kinda sad, but currently there's nothing I really can't wait to do. On the other hand, I suppose that means I am currently rather content with my life. Which is pretty much true, save for a couple of nagging things.

-Do you smile often?
All the time. Even if I don't smile inside, I tend to wear a smile on my face.

-Are you a friendly person?
Yes, unless you hurt those I care about.

There was also another thing like this I was supposed to answer, but I think that's enough for one evening. I'll do the other one when I need to have some time like this again, or at some point tomorrow, or something. They're kinda fun.

Have a nice night, and do comment on this, the first of my blog posts :-P

-Torp
